Chobe Airstrip

There is a Chobe Airstrip in the northern Botswana/Chobe region, but it is important not to confuse it with Kasane International Airport, which is the principal airport used for access to Chobe National Park.



The Chobe Airstrip listed in current mapping data is located in the North-West District of Botswana, at approximately -18.5340, 23.6591. It is a small aerodrome in the broader Chobe/Okavango-Chobe region.



For Chobe National Park and Chobe Game Lodge, however, the normal aviation gateway is Kasane International Airport, rather than this Chobe Airstrip. Chobe Game Lodge confirms that it provides transfers to and from Kasane Airport, and the lodge is located on the Chobe River inside the national park.
